Vehicle Rollover on IL Rt. 177 and Bottom Rd. in New Memphis

On April 24, 2008 at 0244 hrs. Clin-Clair Fire Department was dispatched to a one car rollover accident at the intersection of IL State Rt 160 and State Rt 177 with unknown injuries and vehicle occupants. Unit 8318 and 8317 personnel searched the surrounding area for the vehicle occupant with no one found. Units cleared the scene at 0332 hrs. |

On April 21, 2008 at 2042 hrs. Clin-Clair Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire at a residence on Railroad Rd. in Albers. Upon arrival on scene, units 8311 and 8317 personnel extinguished the vehicle and the house exterior preventing any further exposure damage since the vehicle was parked underneath a second floor wood deck on the driveway. Units remained on scene until 2130 hrs. |

On March 5, 2008 at 0106 hrs. Clin-Clair Fire Department was dispatched to I-64 East bound at the 26 mile marker for semi vs. pickup truck accident with six injuries. All six occupants of the pickup truck (including a dog, headed to Florida) sustained minor injuries. The pickup truck received extensive damage to the side and back from the collision with the semi and a highway sign. The semi also received extensive damage to the front of the tractor due to poor visibility and no back lights on the pickup truck. The semi driver was not injured. Clin-Clair units 8318 and 8317 remained on scene until both vehicles were removed at 0224 hrs.

On January 31, 2008 at 1515 hrs. Clin-Clair Fire Department was dispatched to a 3 vehicle head-on collision with multiple injures south of Albers on Albers Rd. Upon arrival on scene units 8318, 8317, and 8311 personnel provided patient care and extricated two victims with multiple injures. Clin-Clair units remained on scene until 1700 hrs performing cleanup and assisting the tow companies with the removal of the vehicles. |

Two Car Accident on County Line Rd.

On January 14, 2008 at 0554 hrs. Clin-Clair Fire Department was dispatched to a two vehicle accident with multiple injuries on Clinton County Line Road west of New Baden. Rescue 8318 and Engine/Tanker 8317 responded. Clin-Clair Fire Department extricated trapped personal from both vehicles. Once the vehicle occupants were extricated, one victim was air-lifted to the hospital via Arch Helicopter. Clin-Clair Fire Department cleared the scene at 0736 hrs. |

Clin-Clair Fire Department was paged out on March 28, 2007 for a fully evolved house fire. Upon arrival it was noted the fire had already spread from the garage to the kitchen and living room. With the help of neighboring departments, the fire was under control within 24 minutes of initial arrival. Through an aggressive offensive attack, the fire was stopped from reaching the rest of the house which only sustained smoke and water damage. Clin-Clair Fire Department crews remained on scene for 4 1/2 hours performing over-haul, putting out hot spots, and assisting with the fire investigation. No injures were sustained.

On Nov. 11, 2006 Clin-Clair Fire Department was dispatched to a Semi vs. Pickup truck head on accident at the intersections of Rt. 161 and Summerfield Road West of New Baden. Upon arrival, both drivers were extricated and flown from the scene by two Arch Helicopters. |
